Terms:
Please pay by Visa, Master Card, money order or certified check. Wire transfers are accepted with prior authorization.
Personal checks will delay orders 2 weeks because of bank clearance. Print name and address clearly using full street address. Post office boxes cannot be accepted. There is a 20% restocking charge for all returned, undamaged merchandise after 30 days. No returns on special order or altered items. All returns must be accompanied with original invoice or packing slip.
International Orders:
Orders will be accepted from customers outside the United States. Payments must be made in US Dollar currency, in full and in advance of shipment. Additional costs incurred for special crating, shipping insurance, transport documents, customs, duties and taxes are to be paid by the customer.
Pricing:
All Prices are subject to change without prior notice. Due to Steve’s Auto Restorations’ extensive product line, there may be instances whereby pricing, product specifications, and availability may change, without notice, that may not be consistent with the copy, illustrations, or graphics featured on this web site.
Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc.is not responsible for typographical errors or omissions in any printed or electronic information. At our discretion and without notice, we reserve the right to change product availability, specifications, and / or prices.
Shipping:
Most shipments are Freight on Board (FOB) Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc., Portland, OR. unless otherwise specified. Orders will be shipped by the most economical means unless specified by the purchaser. On larger items where crating is involved, a nominal crating charge will be added to your order.
Bodies, chassis, front fenders, chassis and other oversized items will be shipped via truck.
Pick-Ups at our Portland, OR location are available. Please call (503) 665-2222 to arrange pick-up during business hours (8:00am – 4:30pm Mon-Fri).
Refused or missed shipments returned to Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. do not constitute a right to a refund or credit. The customer will be responsible for all freight charges and a restocking fee as outlined above. Any customer wishing the products reshipped must prepay the invoice plus additional charges.
Merchandise Return Policy:
Returns within 30 days of shipping date are acceptable with approval. Past 30 days, a 20% restocking fee will apply and after 6 months a 50% restocking fee will apply with approval. For no reason will returns be accepted after six months. All returns must have a Return Authorization (RA) number provided by Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. prior to return shipping. Please call our Parts Department at (503) 665-2222 for the RA number.
• No returns on special items.
• Returns WILL NOT be accepted if any alterations have been made to the part.
• It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that items are boxed with extreme care to avoid damage during shipping.
• All returns must be accompanied with original invoice or packing slip.
• Return postage must be prepaid. No COD’s will be accepted.
Claims:
Inspect all merchandise immediately upon receipt. Carefully check to make sure that the part numbers, styles, sizes, etc., conform to your original order. All goods are considered delivered to the purchaser when placed in the hands of the Carrier and are considered delivered to the Purchaser. Any claim for loss or damage must be made with the Carrier. All claims for shipment shortages or errors must be made in writing within 15 business days of shipment by Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. Claims should include a short description and supporting documentation. All merchandise is inspected thoroughly before shipment. Should any product arrive damaged, hold the original carton, all packing material, the damaged part, and contact the carrier to file a claim. Do not refuse shipment.
Back Orders:
All back orders will be shipped when available unless otherwise specified by the customer. If Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. experiences a delay of 30 days or more, customers will be notified prior to shipment.
Warranty:
Any products manufactured or sold by Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. is guaranteed free from defects in workmanship and material. Steve’s Auto Restorations’ liability for defects in materials or workmanship is limited to repair or replacement at our option.
Steve’s Auto Restorations Inc. makes no warranty expressed or implied to products supplied or sold by it and makes no warranty expressed or implied that its products are merchantable or fit for a particular purpose. Steve’s Auto Restorations shall not be liable for accidents, property damage or bodily injury directly or indirectly from any defect in its products or from their use. Manufactures warranty against defect is 30 days as of date of delivery. All warranty claims must be made in writing within this time period. All warranty claims are subject to approval and are not guaranteed.
